Northern Italy Dream Trip
This past summer we wanted to add on to our Tauck Croatia cruise which started and ended in Venice. Having been to lake Como roughly thirty years ago, my wife and I thought a second visit was in order. We contacted Jen Mitchel, a Virtuoso travel professional to set it up. As it turns out, that was a very good decision. Jen arranged for our train to Milan, with a driver and guide there as well. At the Venice train station we were greeted by our personal porter who took our bags to the coach and saw us off. The Milan driver and guide were simply fantastic as well. We saw the Last Supper, which was on my wife's bucket list. After that, it was off to see the Milan Cathedral that was just beyond the fantastic Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. I'll include some pictures. After Milan we were picked up and chauffeured to Lake Como. On the previous visit to the lake, we stayed in Bellagio, which was oh so special. It is now simply a tourist trap. Our hotel Tremezzo was on the opposite shore and is seriously fantastic. In fact, from our prospective it is one of the best hotels in the world. All in all Jen orchestrated a trip that we won't soon forget and we'll be sure to work with her on any future trips. We can not recommend her enough and you won't be sorry if you decide to use her.
